Foods that enhance and reinforce your immunity:

  • Minerals, manganese, zinc, copper and selenium: nuts, especially almonds, whole grains.
  • Vitamin A and beta-carotene: carrot, pumpkin, tomato, beet, strawberries, cherries and pepper.
  • B vitamins, riboflavin and niacin and selenium: mushrooms, maitake and shiitake.
  • Vitamin C: red pepper, cabbage, oranges, lemon.
  • Vitamin E: wheat germ, avocado, nuts and green leafy vegetables.
